I booked us on this trip because it included a visit to Portmeirion (of The Prisoner fame) and bookended it with a nights in Criccieth and Caersws. Despite the weather, rain at the start and rather cold throughout, it was a super trip. We were introduced to the excellent Tony Russell as guide and I reconnected with many of the places which I remember as a child growing up in North Wales
