With Charles being over from Australia it was time for us to enjoy another three generation holiday and this time we headed off to Derbyshire. We stayed at a very pleasant resort with 'luxury' lodges. It was indeed well equipped and since we were there off season we enjoyed some peace and quiet. Unfortunately we learnt why Derbyshire is so green, it does rain, but we made the most of our time with visits, inter alia, to Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Chesterfield parish church (the one with the twisted spire)
