It's been our first visit to Italy since early in 2023 and we were pleased to experience Italian food, flair and fashion once again. However it wasn't a typical visit with a focus on the art of the city, its painters and sculptors and the political machinations of the Medicis. We also enjoyed a day trip to Siena and a side trip to a vineyard where we tasted some excellent Chianti.
