Juni's wanted to visit Northumberland for some time because several of the books which she has read relate to the region and it's easier to understand them if you've got an acquaintance with it. We enjoyed a tour based in Newcastle and although it was not exactly warm, even for Newcastle in June, the sun shone and we managed to avoid what rain we encountered.
