I joined a photo workshop in Paris run by @stevengoslingphotography. There were eight of us including two coaches and we were on the move from 0730 over three days. The weather wasn't perfect but it was OK and we experienced no inconvenience from the demonstration in the city on the Saturday. We enjoyed frequent coffee stops and several excellent meals.
I must have visited Paris 20 or 30 times but these were generally business trips, I had two short holiday visits back in 1966 and early in the 70s, and I never really walked the streets. This time I did, 70 thousand steps over three days, and I fully appreciated the city from the grandeur of its art nouveau inspired architecture to the intimacy of Montmartre and Pigalle.
